mmm....medium roast. Preferably plain for everyday drinking. However, I'm not opposed to flavored coffees.

I don't have the time or money to be visiting coffee shops daily, so I typically use K-Cups. I used to brew grounds but I find that I drink more that way. It's cheaper to do grounds. Maybe I'll switch back! MAYBE YOU'RE THE MOTIVATION I NEEDED!!!

I bought a huge thing of HEB Houston blend by accident once. It tasted like the slums of Houston smell, on a hot, muggy day after a rain. Couldn't find anyone at work to drink it either.

I became a bit of a coffee snob during the pandemic, and swore off all flavored coffee and kcups, and drink fresh ground peets every morning. Medium or dark, black or with a splash of half and half.

Medium or dark roast, black typically but sometimes with half and half, non-flavored.

Medium or dark roast, and so strong it looks like oil
Plain, or very lightly flavored (favorite is HEB's San Antonio roast)
Fresh ground. K cups make the coffee way too weak.

I do add flavored creamer always.

Costco Kirkland dark roast K-Cup, cream, and 2 packets of Sweet N Low.

Whatever instant coffee is on sale at best price per ounce. Aggie 32oz. football cup filled 3/4 full with water. Microwave water in cup for 2 1/2 minutes. Add 1 spoonful of instant coffee and stir and enjoy while pondering other ways to uncomplicate your life.

It's a caffeine delivery system, that's all.

Light or medium roast, usually go with Colombian or Nicaraguan beans. If I'm at HEB I get Taste of San Antonio or Texas Pecan. Splash of cream. No sugar or sweetener because I cant stand sweet coffee.

I question the sanity of people who prefer dark roast, including my own parents.

Cold brew in summer, hot brew in winter (Melitta drip system), old fashioned percolator on a camp stove during the Apocalypse.

I'm not picky as long as it's not something like Folgers. Generally black, no sugar. I have a Nespresso machine for when I get home from work.

Where I used to work, a bunch of people chipped in for a Keurig and were really proud of it. People bought loads of k-cups and shared them. Of course, all the sugary ones went fast, and all the crappy coffee just sat and sat and sat.

One of the ethically conscious morons saw all the cups in the trash and said we should recycle the plastic and compost the coffee grounds. I asked who was going to open all those k-cups for a spoonful of compost. No one raised their hand, so that idea went nowhere.

After about a year the Keurig machine started failing due to all the scale from the hard water. Those things can be repaired if you have money for parts and tiny Asian hands. Someone took it home to try and fix it, and it was never seen again.
