Annoying pieces of software trying to make sure that I am not a robot. Even if I click through the right boxes, it asks me to click all over again.

gmail helps with captcha. Google helps set the standards and rankings of emails so having a gmail gives you a boost in ranking. Think the highest rating is a 0.9 and is a combo of email, usage, linked accounts, etc. but yea they suck to deal with.
