After the work from home order was issued back in March, I stayed home like I was told, but was laid off in late April. My wife and I decided to take the opportunity to make a change and I started looking for jobs in places outside of TX.

Back in September I accepted a federal job in Oregon and did all of my onboarding/initial training remotely but they wanted me to move up by the end of October. Since my youngest is a senior in HS, we didn't want to move her away from her friends even though this is one effed up school year, so we bought a travel trailer for me to live in by myself until we put the house in TX on the market next May.

So after three miserable days of driving 2000+ miles, we made it to the RV park, the wife and oldest kid stayed for a few days to explore and then flew home. Since then, they have ramped up COVID protocols and I have only been to my actual office twice and have otherwise been working from the trailer. Since the days are short this time of year I am literally working sunup to sundown, even though that is only about 9 hours, but since it is cold and rainy I don't really get out much in the evenings.

Then they started killing my Saturdays by postponing Aggie football games and the weather has been crappy on the weekends, so it is difficult to get out and explore nature.

Since I flew home for Thanksgiving, I have to quarantine for 14 days, which isn't a big deal since we aren't going to the office anyway, but I went to the RV park office this morning and they have shut everything down because there are several COVID cases in the park so I can't even do my laundry now.

Pity party over and thanks for letting me vent, but the major issue is, what am I going to do when I run out of clean fap towels?

Use dirty fap towels?

In other news, the cousin that invented an imaginary husband to cover up the fact she was in a relationship with a woman is now straight again.

She met a guy while she was working at Hooters (in the kitchen because she is fat and tatted up) and they moved in with her mom almost two years ago. She has been through a half dozen jobs since then and there is no indication they will ever have the money to get their own place.

Her boyfriend is Puerto Rican, has three kids, all on the autism spectrum, two live in Florida with their baby mommas and he doesn't see them or pay child support. The third lives with them in the room they share at the cousin's mom's house.

His car was stolen from in front of the house this morning just to add more drama to the mix.

Oh and one more thing, she is pregnant. On purpose.

Brilliant idea going from Texas to the Pacific NW. I can totally see how you'd think things would be better there

Nope, I wouldn't have wanted that to happen to me when I was a HS senior and I sure as hell wouldn't do that to my kid, especially given that she is a giant band nerd like her dad was at that age.
