Who here (that still has a decent head of hair) has bit the bullet?

With no end in sight to the lockdown, for the first time since my Corps days 20+ years ago, we sat on the porch and played home barber. Ran a 3 guard all over then my wife helped with a 2-1 taper on the sides. Did some touch up with scissors and a neck trimmer. Not a total disaster thank god, but, I sure hope to have a seat in a barber chair sooner than later

I always have shortish hair but I took a 2 guard over it yesterday. Well my 6 year old did and she loved it.

I got my hair cut right before they closed them down, so I'm good for a couple more weeks. I did find myself trying to figure out which electric clippers to buy on Amazon. Any recommendations???

I am using a 40 year old one and it works like new.

EDIT: The new ones look much crappier.

Buy now. Shipping is a couple week out. I imagine lots of folks are ordering right now. I found the one I got at HEB. It was a Wahl and only 1 of 3 left on the shelf.

I'm going totally opposite. Last haircut I got was early February. I don't plan on getting one anytime soon. Just turned 60, and I'm going to relive 1976 one more time.

I was about 6 weeks overdue when the rona hit. I did a 3 guard on the sides and back but left the top untouched and unfaded. It's like 1993 before my fish cut over here.

I'm with you. Got a haircut in January I think. F it I'm growing it for a while. I'm 40 and working 2-3 days a week in the office and even then I hardly ever see anyone there.

I did have to break down and cut my nails yesterday.
Otherwise, I'm enjoying my 3 1/2 week old NHL certified "playoff beard".

As far as my hair though. Hair toss... feelin' "Good as Hell"

Last haircut was last week of February. I like to go once a month. Hoping barbershops open up soon or I'm gonna go full hippie.
