When I was in high school we had a pit mix named Q. We didn't name him. Don't recall why the biker that gave him to us named him Q but we were cool with it so it stuck.

I don't know why, but dogs with people names that aren't usually also dog names always crack me up. This couple at the bar the other day had a golden retriever named Susan and it made me so happy.

Our dog's "full" name is Moxie CrimeFighter, named after Penn Gillette's daughter, who was born shortly after my dog was born. Her breeders named her, and Moxie stuck.
Buddy back home named one Meriod.......just so he could yell hemorrhoid (here meroid) while at the park

Oh, that reminds me our neighbors in college had a cat named Mulva, from Seinfeld.
My dad had a dog named Ye. When he would call for the dog, he'd yell "here he! here ye!"
