I stick with the Deli, but, in the Oscar Mayer scenario, at least I could put a decent amount of cold cuts and cheese on good bread with fresh veggies and quality condiments. Subway is just bad top to bottom and everything in between

Footlong meatball on italian herbs or whatever. Good news, everyone! you can get them to put garlic butter on the bread before they toast it. I was so disgusted with myself AS I ordered it, but it was still delicious.

I worked at Subway in high school. I haven't eaten there since. The smell is so distinct and kind of like that liquor that you got horribly sick on and avoid.

I asked about this one day. She was a 20 something that used to work there. She said the smell was dude to the yeast in the "fresh" bread.
