Two things that have helped me and I always share with new employees I lead...
1) Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react to it.
2)No matter how much you hate your job, for somebody, somewhere, it is their dream job.

I watch this guy's YouTube channel regularly. Mostly for entertainment, but I sometimes learn something. Some of you may have seen his stuff before. This was just posted today. Well worth the 18 minutes, especially if you have teenagers or college students.
If you need to pull the plug on a relationship that isn't panning out, just do it quickly. Rip that bandaid off and get it all over with. Don't burn years of your life just because you don't want to be the mean one to walk away first.

HR departments are not there to protect employees. You better have a legitimate complaint that you can backup 100% with hard evidence before you make a complaint to HR about a co-worker. Or you better be prepared to not have a job.
