Sounds like it. I'm not sure why being in a boxing ring would change the legality of stating you want to kill someone and then doing just that. Self defense goes out the window when you put yourself in that position.

Hell there is probably something in the waiver/contract that says you can possibly die in the ring. As long as he doesn't do anything illegal in terms of boxing, his punches are just like any other boxer's.
