That's what I really wonder about. If it were available somewhere that is legal, clean, and maybe even a little respectable, demand would surely go down for the street.
But, those things might just drive up the price which leaves the market to the streetwalkers, or worse, becomes a gateway to the sex workers and/or addicts who start out legit and then fall into the streets. And what happens to an aging prostitute who is easily replaced by a fresh face?
What about the young and pretty who make easy money and blow it all (so to speak) and then are left with no skills or prospects?
