What was the name and location of the restaurant?
What cut was it?
What temp did you order it?
What made it the best?

I'll go ahead answer for some of you mouthbreathers that it was a well-done sirloin at Outback and covered in ketchup.

Came out sizzlin' in just a little butter. So tender I didn't have to use a knife. Flavor was phenomenal.

I didn't think steak could taste so good. Nothing else comes close and at 40 bucks an oz, it better be the best.

Tabasco peppered American skirtsteak wagyu, 10oz. medium rare from Heritage steakhouse in the Mirage LV. Not just the steak, but I got the grilled shrimp add-on, Caesar salad (w/anchovies) and cheesy risotto side. Combine that with 3 Blanton's old fashioneds, and it's pretty much the best meal I think I've ever had.

Close second is at the Saltlik in Calgary, had dry aged ribeye, cooked m-r, with ahi tuna tartare appetizer. Also with about 3 old fashioneds.

Also convinced my mormon coworker to have a drink, which turned into about 3 scotches for him across the street at the James Joyce pub.

I had Waygu at Le Cirque. It was pretty good but I didn't think it was worth that kinda cash.

I don't even know what cut it is because I've never seen a menu, but at Peter Luger in NY, you order steak for however many people you have and they bring it to the table sliced up and cooked medium rare. If you want it cooked more than that, the edges of the platter are so hot that you just take however much you want and lay it on the edge until it's cooked to your liking. So effing good I can't even describe it.

Other than that I love Del Frisco's Double Eagle in Fort Worth. The filet cooked medium is amazing.

Had a rib-eye at Quality Meats in NYC a few weeks ago that was pretty solid.

Pittsburgh Rare, as far as best ever, I haven't kept track of that in a long time. As long as its cooked to desired temp and seasoned properly, they're all pretty similar at a certain price point. I'm buying a dining experience more so than the steak these days. Steaks are a commodity that a high school drop out can be taught to cook properly, the rest is where the money is really spent.

We raise show and commercial cattle, and my kids show steers, so I've feed and butchered some calves that have been graded USDA Prime and when I butcher a steer it's dry aged over 30 days and the steaks are cut 2" thick. Grill over Post Oak wood chunks.

Best restaurant steak had a lot but Bohanan's has always been a favorite the 24 ounce bone in Ribeye medium rare.
