Mrs. TCR always try to rate towns either worse or better than Refugio. Refugio is pretty nasty. Nothing against the good people of Refugio.

So when we drive through places it is either a) really a nice town, b) a little better than Refugio, c) same as Refugio, or 4) worse than Refugio.

Again, nothing against Refugio.

Towns way worse than Refugio: Hebronville, Premont, Kendleton, Tivoli, Freer

Refugio gave us Toya Jones who had the game saving tackle on the completed hail mary pass vs K-State in the Big 12 Championship game.

For that alone, I'll never talk bad about Refugio.

wharton isnt what i would call nasty.

Freeport is basically a smaller but more concentrated version of port arthur. its curb appeal is only helped out by its neighbors in Clute.
