I know exactly what they're for. Take your ring off when in that situation. Like I said, silicone rings are ridiculous.

But how will the other electricians/roughnecks know you're married? The only option is a tattoo or silicone ring. Also don't forget to cut the ring finger off of gloves.

I've worn my wedding ring for so long that even if I take it off, it's easy to see that there was a wedding ring there.

lighter color and permanent indention.
