This seems silly.. if the driver is going to take the time to drive specifically to your car, why doesn't he just call you and you met him out by your car? Or surely they have technology in place for customer to see on a map where his driver is, like uber, eliminating the need to call. Well, I know they have this tech, because I've done amazon same day, and that's exactly what happened. I saw when he showed up in my work parking lot.
Most people are within a minute or two walk from their car all day at work.
I can't imagine too many scenarios where you need a package delivered to your car, and you aren't anywhere near by. I'd think most people would RATHER have it delivered to their front desk at work, instead of their car anyway, in the case where they're too busy to meet the driver.
