I saw it for the first time a few weeks ago.

Oddly it's a pretty complicated condiment from the Vegan point of view. Homemade mayo from back yard chicken eggs may live in a Vegan grey area from the Animal Rights Vegans (aka vEggan) as nothing has to die to make it, however, it's still a no no from the health Vegan point of view. Commercial Mayo is always on the black list as those chickens are harvested once production drops.

Kind of a moot point for me as I really haven't had the need for mayo since going plant based.
