Now I'm going to need to build a one story in the hill country, with an infinity pool, a 20 mile view, no sounds from highway traffic (local road traffic is fine), a couple clay pigeon throwers and a 3 hole golf course. I am so ready to get out of Austin. The American Dream is not dead, you just have to work for it.

You own the permanent right to rent it from the government, and can pass that right on to others. Which is basically the same thing as owning it.

And then the future value of all the extra cashflow you now have to save every month going forward.
