I listen to good speeches and university lectures while driving sometimes. It's like NPR without the crappy Indy bump music and stoned sounding hosts.

Woman disappeared 10 years ago without a trace in a small town. Podcaster is investigating and during the course of the podcast, stuff with the case starts happening. It's pretty crazy.

Oh No Ross and Carrie is pretty entertaining. They try out all kinds of alternative medicines, religions (including Scientology) and paranormal stuff. The colon cleanse episode was hilarious.

Currently listening to Stages. It's a Lance Armstrong podcast recapping the daily Tour de France stage of the day. It's easy enough for a casual listener to follow and understand what is going on, but also gets into the details of team bicycle racing to interest fans.

It is very similar but I think better so far

Reply all is my favorite. Everything is loosely internet based, but the guys have a great rapport and they cover a variety of topics.

If you're just getting into podcasts, it may be worth it to go back and listen to Serial (season one was sensational, season 2 not so much IMO).

I'm working on finishing up presidential. It's been great getting into, but I'm up to LBJ now and their biases are really showing through. (Loved Teddy, worship FDR, only talk about Nixon's scandal), but it was cool to hear what other presidents have done and their path to the White House.

The Way I Heard it is Mike Rowe's version of Paul Harvey's Rest is the Story.

The material for Stuff you missed in History class is great, but the presenters are just reading and not very interesting.

I also liked Embedded.

Criminal by phoebe judge has been my favorite so far.

Serial was awesome. S1 anyway.

Up and Vanished started pretty good, but isn't that great now for spoiler reasons. Plus Payne (sp?) is kind of irritating.

Stuff You Should Know - enjoying it as background when working out or driving. Not really learning much on topics I am interested in, but I find the hosts entertaining and easy to listen to.

Only the investors podcast when I am on the stationary bike. Would like to find more learning based podcasts.

The Way I Heard It - Mike Rowe - short, very interesting stories

Up and Vanished (although I'm a bit behind now since...).

Hardcore History - Countdown to Armageddon was really good but looooooong. The one on the Protestant Reformation, "Prophets of Doom," was fascinating.

Lore - really good story telling

Serial - I liked the Bowe Bergdahl (sp?) one as much as the 1st season.

Side Hustle School - very short stories on variety of side businesses.

How I Built This - maybe my favorite.

Did it? Yes absolutely. Should've been convicted based on what was presented? Ehhh...
