Seriously though, stock your house with beer, bread, and other gluten-heavy foods and leave a list of nearby hotels on the pantry door and the fridge door.

Love my in laws...they are kind yet stay out of our business and help with the baby a lot. The dad helps us with house stuff...like changing out our a.c. ducts and adding electrical to our deck so we can have an outdoor bar.
My parents (his in laws) like to take nice vacations and invite us for no charge! We are staying in an awesome ski in ski out condo in aspen for new years courtesy of my parental.
We hit the in law jackpot.
Side note, I would never marry a mamas boy that would let her run our lives. I would not be attracted to a spineless man like that either. In laws should certainly be considered when marrying. His ex wife came from white trash and they were always injecting their pity stories on them because they were the only ones in the family who were middle class

You get some decent stories out of it every now and then but I'm not sure that makes up for it.

Gluten free because they are crazy people, or gluten free because they have celiacs (weird that both would)?
If because crazy, make a bunch of carb loaded casseroles. If because of celiacs, accommodate them. I learned that it's never fun to be in a confined space with someone who has celiacs after they eat something with gluten.

I will drain my child's college fund and put them in a home. I'd rather pay a crazy amount of college tuition than give up my sanity willingly.
