Not sure how many of you follow motorcycle racing, but MotoGP is equivalent to F1 in motorcycle racing, and he won the championship in 2006 when he was riding for Repsol Honda. The last American to win the championship. Succumbed to injuries from a cycling crash last week.

I watched World SBK when I was younger and was a big fan of Nicky.

There's just something wrong about a world champion motorcyclist dying from injuries he sustained after being hit by a car while riding his pedal bike.
