Random, I know.

Coworker came into work this morning with one. He was talking about how good it is, and he hasn't had one since Fat Tuesday (guess he gave them up for Lent?). Got me thinking- I don't believe I've drank one since I was ten 20ish years ago. I have zero urge to drink it ever again. Ish is nasty.

A couple weeks ago. Before that, probably 25 years. Only tried it again because my friend had one and I wanted to see if it tasted better as an adult than it did when I was a kid. It did not.

I see several comments about it being a minority drink, but this stuff was like heroin to white Baptist school children in West Texas in the 90's. Everyone wanted it, and moms prohibited it because it turned the kids into monsters and ruined carpet forever when it got spilled.

Loved it when I was a kid.
Mom used to make "Big Red Ice Cream". Think I had some of that a few summers ago at my parents house. Does that count?

I'm white as snow and love big red.

When I was a kid I was at the deer lease with my dad who never monitored how many sodas I had. Drank 13 in one day. Got very sick.

Still love it though.

i think back when i was 10 or so. at the church picnics there was always that ring toss game where you try to bottleneck a soda. i always got the damn big red and RC cola.

been well over ten years.

in southeast texas it was never a minority drink, the minorities tended to drink shasta over big red.
