It may have taken me more than a couple of episodes. I actually watched one or two episodes and walked away for a while... found better shows. Then I gave it another try and it clicked. I think Leslie Knope was just so awkward that it creeped me out a bit.

Yeah. It didn't really "come together" at first to me. But now, after having watched it start to finish, it's one of my favorite seried, and going back and watching season 1 again, I get it. I think it's because I see how they all developed and how they started now makes sense.

And I became a bigger fan onceane Chris and Ben came in. Rob Lowe is just a good actor

I watched 5 or so episodes and couldn't get into it...guess I'll add it back to the list

I got it right away. They nailed the personalities of city government employees. Especially the non essential grant funded or auxiliary types

between seasons 1 and 2 they figured out parks and rec didn't need to be the office with a female michael scott. once it became its own show it was very good.
