Sometimes multiple times a week. Sometimes weeks between. But we have had some knock down drag outs. But, we love each other and keep coming back for more. Maybe it's just our thing?

The "true" issues, to me, relate to what you commit to the other person. After that, everything else is small potatoes. And no one goes to bed angry.

And ideally? The only arguments I'll participate in are those that ignite the passion you have for the other person.

Wife and I both have tempers, so things can get too heated pretty quick, but we've managed to deal with periodic arguments or griping for 17 years. No big deal. I think it's kind of fun, actually.

Myself: We seem to argue about something petty once or twice a week but come to a conclusion quickly with a joke. Serious discussion/argument about once every other month but, again, quickly. I call that "fighting"

SO: She has physically fought her ex (punch for punch), and has screamed and yelled with another over stupid issues. She calls what we do talking...

She's very lucky to have found me. I'm still figuring out she's in charge

My wife and her whole family are into knock down screaming fights then they make up. I don't get it at all. Not my style

Never, we just click and we know our roles in the household and respect each other.

8 months married and 5 years togeather, The Wife and I have never even raised our voices to each other. We're widows and don't sweat the small stuff.

Yep. Winning isnt worth the cost of stress, blood pressure, and kids having to witness. I usually concede just to reduce the noise level if nothing else.
