I was at the San Antonio show this year and have to say this was an awesome show live. Have been a fan since Tilt. We generally pull for Crown but no doubt Blooooo deserved it this year.

But Drum Corps <> Marching Band.

I know it's a reach to equate Corps and marching bands. Just thought the folks here would like to see what's possible with talented musicians. Most Aggies have never heard one.

I got to to see this show 5 times this season (Denton, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas and Indianapolis for finals). Was a blast every time.

The Cadets had an entertaining show this year, but it was going to be Crown, Blue Devils or Bluecoats. And really - with such a transformational show - it was always going to be Bluecoats.

That's not marching.

The best time to his the concessions is when the band marches out on the field.

Using microphones should be considered cheating.
Using computers in the performance should be considered cheating.
And that trumpet soloist is the gayest thing I've ever seen. Even homos are telling him to tone it down.

Also a former member of the FATB and has two kids in high school band. But my high school marching band was fourth at 5A State Marching my Sr. year so I was an 8-5 fan before i marched 6-5. Love both. Some of my best friends in the world are BQs.

But DCI rocks.Some of these guys who are calling it gay will buy the PPV of the next professional "wrestling" event to watch men in tights throw each other around the ring. To each his own, I guess.

Yeah, I was in a pretty terrible high school band. Of course, I grew up without much in the way of decent instruction, at school or private lessons. I rectified that with my kids and was rewarded with several trips to San Antonio for 6A All State Band. And of course - the best reward (so far) was seeing my son win a world championship in Indianapolis.
