She's pretty looks like a good dog. There's a woman down the street from me with a dog that looks like her. Just the prettiest, sweetest dog. A total mutt though.
Thanks. She has been a great dog so far, and will be 1 in October. She is super sweet, but can also be really shy at times. She met my brother and SIL for the first time last week and it took a couple of hours for her to go near them

Why do mutt owners always think that their dog has some bad ass rare breed mixed in? It's never he's a German Shepard/Chow mix, it's always he looks like he's a mix between a Anatolian Shepard and a Tibetan Mastiff.

No idea. We only assume Lab because her basic build and color are almost identical to a lab. However she has something in her that's keeping her smaller (she is a shade under 40lbs) and her head is definitely got more of a fox/wolf shape vs the little more boxy muzzle of a lab. She also has darker spots on her skin (you can see it in the spread eagle pics) that look like she should be a darker dog with white on her chest. It's rather weird.

I'm not the owner, but I said ASD bc a friend has two of them and Penny's facial features reminded me of them. Ppffttt.
