Like this jackarse here, but in a full-size truck w/ a 6 foot bed.

Actually I'm trying to get the weight of the water in the bed.

Well, you can calculate a rough volume.

For example.....6 foot long bed, about 2.5 feet deep, about 5 feet wide....

That's 75 cubic feet. That converts to about 561 gallons of US liquid measure.

By the way, that's about 4500 lbs and your truck is probably not rated to handle that type of payload, but maybe it is.

You can do it without any problem, I've done it a few times and the Farm House guys do it every year with about 3 or 4 trucks. You don't fill it up entirely and you're not driving around with the weight. Granted it isn't the best thing for shocks and suspension but your truck should be fine if it is full sized.
