Just got home. Can't believe they stole a point. I thought we had em a couple times in OT. Didn't have much faith in shootout. Glad Robertson netted one. Pavs was ROBBED. I was yelling thinking it was netted. Josi had otter all kinds of out of wack, but that was just an awesome experience. After my buddy nabbed the puck, good things happened.

So I did a little stat digging on how good Otter has been so far for us. And this is a little bit cherry-picking of stats, but who cares.

Out of the goalies who have logged at least 300 minutes of ice time (Jake has 538 minutes), only 5 goalies have both a better SV% and GAA than Otter. Those are listed below:

Andrei Vasilevskiy - TB
Semyon Varlamov - NYI
Philipp Grubauer - COL
Marc-Andre Fleury - VGK
Jaroslav Halak - BOS (backup)

Doc Emrick was good but Gary Thorne has some of the most legendary calls ever.

Is Gary still around? I saw Barry Melrose on TV today and he looks like death warmed over. Makes you realize how long it's been since hockey was on ESPN.
