Wow what a close call

Seems like the Blues are holding back or trying to be too clever. Many missed opportunities to shoot and see what happens. Only 19 shots, but then again the Bruins only have 18...

The Blues are a physically aggressive/dirty at times team (like the old Stars) that miraculously played the last five periods and two overtimes of "penalty free" hockey when the Stars were up 3-2. Maybe the officiating is just bad all around, but that's an amazing stat.

I would love to see the NHL add a second referee and expand replay for the playoffs. I think most playoff teams suffered from poor officiating at some point, and it cost the Knights a game 7.

Hockey may be the toughest sport to officiate, so the attitude of swallowing the whistle for the most part in the Playoffs, combined with narrow replay rules, is calling the credibility of the playoffs into question.

Where does everyone land on this one? My nephew is a die hard bruins fan so I am sticking with him, but mainly just hoping for a great game 7

I was indifferent as to the winner but have warmed up to then Blues as the series has gone forward.

But still tough as a Stars fan to see another division team on the way towards a Cup.

Weird, the Bruins keep forgetting how to skate, no wait it's just the Blues players tripping them and not getting called

I admire this passion, but on this the anniversary of the Mavs title, I can't help but be happy for a first time champ...but then again I'm old and I've lost my edge

STL is a bunch of thugs who benefited from piss poor officiating the whole playoffs. Dallas, SJ, and Boston couldn't stop tripping over their own dicks to boot.

And I say that as an Astros fan re: first championship

They should have given the Conn Smythe to the zebras. Pathetic officiating is why St. Louis won the playoffs.

The only power play went in favor of the Boston cheaters.

If you commit 10 obvious penalties a game and only get called for one, you are at a good advantage.

I think the NHL is playing with fire letting them go like the dead pick era in the playoffs. St. Louis had the talent to win without all the old school harshness, but I don't blame them for doing why the refs wouldn't call. I did the same thing in basketball.
