Looks to be an interesting meet with teams still sorting out who will do what at the SEC champs in a couple of weeks. Lay those marks out there and let everyone try and beat them....

He may still get in (NCAA) even if he does not improve his time at SEC championship. Once he stays ranked between 17-20, there is a possibility that several athletes ranked in the top 16 are also qualifiers in the 3000m and 5000m and may pull out of the mile,

Our sprinters (60m, 200m and some 400m) have not looked good this indoor season. We have get back to the drawing board real fast because only a couple of weeks left, No potential qualifers in the 60m. Maybe 1 in the 200m (Danyel White). A couple male 400m runners also on the bubble

He signed back in November (?) with some other fall recruits. Since he was already at a university (Algiers?) then maybe he is able to be added to the roster but may/may not be eligible yet? Seems like he has jumps....

Tahar Trilki has been enrolled in University Studies this semester. I was expecting him to compete earlier but hopefully we can see him this indoor competing this weekend and SEC championship. I am sure if he does not compete indoor certainly outdoors. I don't know how competition ready he is at this time. Just like hurdler Gabriel McDonald, it may take a little time for adjustment to indoor competition. Let's see

What is more interesting is that Lindon Victor is listed on the roster as well. Victor only competed indoors in his first year at Texas A&M and may have one more outdoor season of eligibility.
Cameron Villarreal also has one more eligible outdoor season

Tech moving up to #1 in the USTFCCCA rankings. They have the ability to get high points in 60m, 200m, 800m, HJ, LJ, and TJ

Lindon has exhausted all eligibility and will be competing professionally this year. The roster that matters is on 12thman.com.

Tech hasn't competed outside of Lubbock all year. If they can duplicate those performances out of their friendly confines all at the same meet then more power to them.

Another group of Aggies mainly the men's and women's distance medley crew competing in Notre Dame trying to qualify for NCAA's

Former Aggie sprinter, Eric Age is now competing for TAMU-Commerce and is running this weekend at Texas Tech.

The Lady Ags stay in the top 12 in the DMR for now. ETA: New school record for the ladies.

The men run a 9:32.99 and just miss out on the top 12. The top times came from Heat 1 and we ran in heat 2.

He competed unattached this week - jumped 25'+ and 51'+.

Got to watch him jump. 51-11 with a short approach and only took three jumps (one was a foul)...that would rank him 4th in the SEC. His long jump would put him just outside the top 25 in the country and his triple would rank in the top 20. He won both competitions and the Collies were out there in the triple. Once he gets a little stronger and trained up he is going to be a beast, especially in the triple. Sure hope we get to see him wearing an A&M uniform ASAP!

Technically this would be a former student update, but poor Fred Kerley; didn't have his best race at the US Indoors. Was really pulling for him, but sometimes things and people (!) get in the way. All in all though, he still outclasses most of the field. Amazing runner. Can't wait to see what time he runs when everything pulls together.

Donovan Brazier though, nice little 800 meter run in his pocket: 1:45.10!

After the Mount West Indoor Championship and ACC indoor championship women distance medley relays last night, the Aggies are now ranked 14th on the NCAA list. Only the Top 12 advance to NCAA.
Let see this weekend what the Aggies will focus on because the distance medley relay and the 4x400m relays at SEC are less than 1/2 an hour apart and we have runners on both distance medley and 4x400.
Other championships have their distance medley relays on another day from the 4x400.

According to the track article below Aggie newcomer Tahar Triki of Algeria, will make his debut in a Texas A&M uniform during the conference meet by competing in the long and triple jump events.
