I'm a Houstonian but I lived in DC for several years and become a huge hockey fan while there. What's the buzz like surrounding the Stars in Dallas, even when they aren't doing well?

There's been talk through the years of Houston getting an NHL team, and now there's renewed interest since Tillman Fritita bought the Rockets. Hockey fans in DC are rabid, I'm just wondering how it translates down in Texas. Really hoping Houston could get behind a hockey team.

I started the Stars '17-'18 season thread last summer and we all unfortunately know how that went so around July 1st someone else is going to have to step up and start the 18-19 season thread.

Hopefully by then you'll be able to STARt it with news of Tavares and the choo-choo train being official!
