Georgia could make it interesting. If the Duck donot score in the 5000m they will have to win the 4x400 to win the championship. Georgia is 1st and 2nd in the high jump and would win the heptathlon. Georgia would have 62.2 points.Ducks have 53 points presently

Would love to see UGA win after all the "best team ever" chatter about Oregon.

Looked like she started to maybe overstretch her stride to stay ahead and lost it

Looks like UO will need the 10 relay points to win the title.

Beyond the fact that I jut can't root for UGA, it's kind of crappy that a team may win it without a single point on the actual track, after which the sport is (at least partially) named.

Then again, watching Oregon lose would be funny.

Women finish 4th in the 4x4. I thought Ellis would get Rogers at the end but she kept on getting pushed wide.

Technically, the heptathlon is run on the track a couple of times

If Grant doesn't fall in the 400H could of been a different outcome.

I like that Georgia was able to do it with field events only. Often overlooked part of the sport and the points are generally more reliable. Oregon deserves credit for winning the meet despite all the obstacles they faced. Losing arguably their best sprinter at regionals along with the relay and then having Stevens go down along with a couple of losses of distance runners from regionals should have been enough to stop them but they found a way to win. The Rogers girl is a Texan from Houston.
