You track officiators probably already knew this, but I was blown away at how much better Ioannis Kyriazis best javelin throw exceeds his closest competitor: over 10 meters!
I've never seen that kind of dominance in a single event that I can remember.

He only has two legal throws the entire season (to win Texas Relays and SEC's). My guess is if he had the normal six for one competition that he'd take out the collegiate record (and he is doing it with a bone spur in his throwing elbow).

Fred and Mylik advance to Eugene. Richard Rose runs another sub-46 400 but doesn't advance.
Brown and Thompson advance in the 100. Cunliffe DNSed so she's done for the year.
Fray and Dixon advanced to Eugene. Real good composure by Dixon after being near a fall early on in the race.
Grant advances to nationals in the 400H.

Looks like Dixon finished in 3rd place by a small margin (0.06 seconds). Did he come back to pull it out comfortably or was he barely holding on.

Dixon had to hurdle the guy in front of him that fell. He got back to his stride pretty quickly and slowly came from behind but he had to run wide in the outer half of lane 2. Dixon was battling for the lead on the backstretch, but was fading around the turn as there was a cluster of guys coming on. He pushed through that last 80 to finish in the top 3. If I was nitpicking, I'd ding him for not leaning at the finish, but otherwise he battled through it.

Almost through with the jumps at 6-10.75 and Cragin is in for 16th place, so he'll need to clear the next height to have a chance.
Starting the last round in the TJ and Larjarvia Brown is near the bubble in 11th.

Lady Ags (Brown, Spaulding, Thompson) run 1-2-3 in heat 2 and all will advance in the 200.
Cragin just cleared 7-0.5...should get him to Eugene! Let's hope!
Cragin cleared 7-0.5 on his 1st attempt, so that will help him as guys are starting to really miss at these heights.
