A earlier poster said we had a chance to win it all and it feels great to see us beat Florida and Oregon. Seems like the formula for winning at nationals is to get first or second in 4 or 5 events and then pick up a scattering of points in other events. Just to get first or second in any event is quite an accomplishment but to get 4 like we did is a credit to the athletes and the way this coaching staff develops them.
I was concerned both relay teams would get disqualified like what happened at nationals several years ago. Just a great meet to attend and some great competition to see.

We have enjoyed attending the meets, and had attended the Championships the last time A&M was host, but I have to admit, the whole venue was screaming during the 4x4 for the men.
As was mentioned before, this was many Aggie athletes working their hardest to score points. The women gave it their best shot as well, just didn't have the numbers really. I am looking forward to what will happen next.

I do have more photos, and will post when I get back home. The hotel wifi was slooooooooow. I did not take photos during the 4x4, was nervous after the men's 3000m and could not keep my hands still. Just watched and enjoyed the moment

I thought the women did about as well as they could. Jazmine Fray really looks small compared to the other runners. She ran three tough races in 2 days.
