That was some serious dominance by Newgarden yesterday. Power was just a moving chicane for him.

I didn't get to watch the race but Newgarden is on fire. That was a great hire by Penske.

Aleshin will not be returning to the 7 car for the remainder of the season. It's safe to say that Mid Ohio is the last we will see of the Mad Russian.

They also tested a three element front-wing, but Servia and JPM both liked the two element front-wing better.

Thanks for posting that. I was on the road all day Sunday and couldn't watch. Besides the brickyard Pocono is my favorite round and round track. It's really wide and lots of room to race.
17 races this year. I'd like to see them add a few more, maybe get to 20. No way they can compete with football so they can't go later in the year. Maybe start earlier in the year, add a couple of Saturday/Sunday races? Don't know but it's almost 6 months off.

I expect the 2018 aero package to be able to follow a little closer. Since most of the aero grip is returning to the undertray, the car will significantly less impacted by aero wash, which is the reason they couldn't follow close at Phoenix or Gateway.

Newgarden's move was very brave.
