Aggie swimmers are in Mansfield, TX this year for the Art Adamson Invite. Divers are off to Missouri. Couldn't host at home due to football making logistics nearly impossible. Still great opportunities for the swimmers to earn NCAA qualifying times and the divers to compete in a Zone/NCAA style meet. Will keep a running tab of best results, particularly NCAA worthy times, here.

School record in the 100 back (46.23) leading of the 400 Medley relay for Brock Bonetti. Men also won the 200 Free relay in 1:18.43. Corey Bolleter won the 50 free in 19.48, Mauro Castillo went a strong 1:45.88 in the 2IM.

Women finished 2nd in the 200 Free relay and swept the other events including 1-2-3 in the 200IM with 6 in the A Final. Gastaldello 21.94 in the 50, Pickrem 1:56.1 in the IM, Gibson 4:40.6 in the 500. Medley relay won in 3:32.89, joining those 3 with probable NCAA qualifying swims were Bratton, Galat and Malone in the IM.

In Missouri, Tyler Henschel won the 1m with Sam Thornton 3rd.

Mauro Castillo broke the 200 breast school record with a 1:53.84 today. That is a lock to make NCAAs. Cory Bolleter's 19.48 and Bonetti's 46.23 are inside last year's qualifying times. School record 200 medley relay along with strong medley and free relays bodes well for the future. Angel Martinez witha steong 1:44 in the 2 fly as well.

Women have 3 set with A cuts (Galat, Gibson, McGregor) and 7 more (Bratton, Caneta, Gastaldello, Jonker, Malone, Pickrem, Rasmus) with times that should be safely inside the cut line come March. Esther Gonzalez, Monika Gonzalez and Sycerika McMahon have times that may be on the border for qualifying. Some quality swims from freshmen too, especially Amy Miller in the 100 & 200 freestyles with big lifetime bests.

I think this could be the best men's team in a while. Some really positive stuff going on with them. Their recruiting seems to really be picking up too.
