2025 DE Kamauryn Morgan calls Texas A&M a 'top-tier' program
Dallas (TX) South Oak Cliff standout defensive end Kamauryn Morgan has been a long-time priority target for Texas A&M, and he recently stopped through College Station to spend some quality time with coach Sean Spencer as the Ags continue to make a strong impression.

Aggies set to host one of DFW's finest
Road trip to College Station 👀 @KamaurynM— Hollywood Smooth (@imhollywood214) May 3, 2024 Dallas South Oak Cliff 2025 DE Kamauryn Morgan is head to town for a little weekend trip with his father for a little face time with the coaches. He doesn't do a lot of talking and his schedule is pretty packed with AAU basketball also in the mix, but the Aggies have high on his list for awhile now.It sounds like a preseason decision is likely. He already had OVs scheduled to Baylor and USC and I expect the Aggies to also get one in there somewhere this summer.

Texas A&M coaches active in DFW
Monday 12:56 PM UpdateHearing the Aggies are going to be pretty active in DFW over the next few days.As you guys can see they dropped by Lone Star and put a couple of new offers on the table. Hearing Prosper and McKinney are a couple of potential stops.Prosper is home to commit Connor Carty and 2026 OL offer Zaden Krempin and 2026 OL Bryce Gilmore is a guy I could see getting a lot of attention from the Aggies. Coach Cushing also spoke at the DFW OL Coaches Clinic over the weekend hosted by Prosper OL Brian Thompson over the weekend so I bet he has a pretty good idea the talents on that OL.McKinney, of course, is home of 2025 LB target Riley PettijohnOn the southside of town I have been hearing a trip to SOC is in the works. The Aggies have offers out to 2025 OL Emeka Ugorji and 2025 DE Kamauryn Morgan as well as 2026 LB Jamarion Phillips.DeSoto is another stop in the plans with RB commit Deondrae Riden and an offer out to top 2027 WR Ethan Feaster. I'd expect Denton Ryan with OL commit Marcus Garcia and OL target Ty Haywood and Forney with LB commit Kelvion Riggins and 2026 RB target Javian Osborne to see some traffic too as well as schools of several top targets like Mesquite Horn (OL Lamont Rogers, S Markel Ford - 2026, and CB Ryan Gilbert - 2026) and Lewisville (OL Michael Fasusi) to also see some coaches in Maroon and White. We will keep you guys posted as always but it wouldn't surprise me to see a few more coaching stops and even some offers in the area over the next few days. ************Monday 10:18 a.m Updateexas A&M also offered Frisco Lone Star 2027 QB/ATH Karece Hoyt6-2, 200, district newcomer of the year as an all-purpose guy and back-up QB. Just saw him spinning the ball last week. More ATH than QB right now, but he has a lot of tools and high potential as a QB too#AGTG I’m honored and proud to say I’ve been offer by Texas A&M @HolmonWiggins @CoachJRayburn @drkharp @LSHS_FBRecruits @RonnieBraxtonA1 @Brett_Gilchrist pic.twitter.com/jK69I1hhB4— Karece Hoyt (@Karece_Ku2_Hoyt) April 29, 2024 https://www.hudl.com/video/3/19331534/654e83760dc9ed05e8199761Frisco Lone Star 2027 QB Karece Hoyt@Karece_Ku2_Hoyt | @LSHSRangers | @LSHS_FBRecruits pic.twitter.com/ZMMlmC08cz— Jason Howell (@Jason_Howell) April 23, 2024 Frisco Lone Star 2027 QB Karece Hoyt@Karece_Ku2_Hoyt | @LSHSRangers | @LSHS_FBRecruits pic.twitter.com/R2sBPVySBe— Jason Howell (@Jason_Howell) April 23, 2024 Frisco Lone Star DL Chris Knauls, Jr with the pressure, QB Karece Hoyt scrambles and finds WR Dekhari Dean who makes a nice grab to convert on 4th down in team@ChrisKnaulsJR | @Karece_Ku2_Hoyt | @_DekhariDean | @LSHSRangers | @LSHS_FBRecruits pic.twitter.com/mYxeKu3Dld— Jason Howell (@Jason_Howell) April 23, 2024 Frisco Lone Star 2027 QB Karece Hoyt (6-2, 200) recorded 450 AP yards as a FR ATH earning district Off Newcomer of the Year. has offers from Michigan, Baylor, Tulane, K-State, Tx Tech, SMU, UNT, Penn St, UTSA, and Colo St@Karece_Ku2_Hoyt | @LSHSRangers | @LSHS_FBRecruits pic.twitter.com/got92F503t— Jason Howell (@Jason_Howell) April 23, 2024 ***********************************I have been thinking this one was only a matter of time for awhile now and today is the day. Texas A&M has offered Frisco Lone Star ATH Davian Groce. He checks in at 6-2, 190 and has been making big plays for the Rangers since his freshman year. Plays both RB and WR and has come through in the clutch multiple times. He's definitely one of the top prospects in DFW and the Aggies are being very active in Lone Star's 2026 class with offers out to TE Ryder Mix and S Jordan Deck as well. If you want another Lone Star 2026 to watch keep an eye on DL Chris Knauls, JrWOW!!! TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

TexAgs Rating

The TexAgs Recruiting team of Billy Liucci, David Sandhop, Jason Howell, Ryan Brauninger and a host of recruiting interns attends more than 75 games each fall and observes and evaluates every major Texas A&M target, as well as most of the top 150 prospects in the State of Texas. From this evaluation the team draws a rating for each prospect on a scale between 70 and 100.

99-100: Elite national prospect (Five-star)

90-98: Elite state prospect (Four-star)

Considered one of the best 30-40 prospects in the state and a top 250 national prospect. Displays the physical skills to be a major early contributor at the collegiate level with high professional potential.

80-89: Quality prospect (Three-star)

Considered one of the best 100 prospects in the state and a top 500 national prospect. Displays the physical skills to develop into a contributor over the course of his college career. Has the ability to become a professional prospect over time with development.

70-79: Solid prospect (Two-star)

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
