Key quotes from Kenric McNeal interview:

"It is a tremendous feeling to know that I can always come back and always know that my senior year started the legacy."

"Honestly, personally, I feel like I could have done a lot better [at Pro Day]. I did not have the results I was expecting. The process... I'm happy that I got to experience it. Going out there and performing and trying to earn what you deserve. It really opens your eyes and makes you understand that this is a business."

"I am waiting for some feedback. I am hoping that I get a shot at camp somewhere. All I need is a chance to prove myself. I am not a good tester but I'm a football player. That [testing] doesn't really tie in to what happens on the field. All I need is my shot. I'll be waiting."

"Being in the SEC and playing against all those big name DBs... I think it raises the competition a lot. It makes you elite to the other conferences and their talent levels. It was a great experience and I really enjoyed it."

"I think playing playing in two different offenses works out to my advantage. Coach Sherman's offense was a complete pro offense.... everything in it was pro style. It is going to benefit the most when I have to learn someone's play book."

"I wouldn't like anything more than [being reunited with Mike Sherman in Miami.] He's taught me a lot that I know... it would be a great opportunity."

"I want to play football as long as I can. I won't be able to play forever. My mom is a single mom, so I don't want to waste too much time chasing my dream. I need to make some income somehow. If this football thing doesn't work out here soon, I am definitely going to give it up and move in to business world."

"With the receivers coming in, it is definitely survival of the fittest now."

"Coach Sumlin is a one-of-a-type kinda guy. He is really big on correcting mistakes. Every week that's what he put a big emphasis on... he's the type of guy that doesn't make the same mistake twice. That's what separates him from every one else."

"[Coach Sumlin] is a player's coach, no doubt."

"Action Jackson came at us like we were his brothers. He wanted to make us go out there and ball, make us perform to the best of our abilities."

"With Johnny doing what he did and re-writing the record books, I think defenses are going to have strategies to turn him down. I think that will lead Coach McKinney to have to turn to our running backs which is a very viable source."

"I don't see how anyone will be able to stop [Johnny Manziel]"

"I feel like the adversity that we had going in to the season really fueled us... we played with a chip on our shoulder and did not let anything hold us back."

"[Playing OU]... we were tired of being every body's little brother. That was our fuel to the fire. We weren't taking no for an answer."

"Johnny has a lot to live up to. He has big shoes to fill. He is a tremendous player and obviously he doesn't need to improve on much. He set records that are unheard of. As a freshman, I think he could improve on his progression... but it works, so you can't blame him for it."

"I didn't tell Johnny [that I predicted he would win the Heisman after the Florida game.] He didn't know I had predicted it until after he won it... I didn't want to add any pressure. That's just how I felt."

"Jake Matthews is going to be a leader of the offense... all across the board, I do not think we will lose a step."

Hope Kenric catches on with a team.
Always thought he had soft hands and helped out his QB either getting open or blocking.
Gig 'em, Kenric.

I'm glad he went out on top his senior season. His diving finger tip catch against Bama was incredible. But, I don't know that I'll ever forget his second half fumble against Ok State that seemingly became the turning point in the Greek tragedy that was the 2011 season.
