The Politics of Football: Why stop at A&M-Texas?

Once, the mention of a bill involving Texas and Texas A&M football likely would be a reference to Bill Hobbs or Bill Bradley.

Now, it’s not so much about the Bills that played in the game, but instead a bill to get the game played.

The storied rivalry, which had been played every year since 1915, was interrupted last season because of hard feelings stemming from A&M’s move from the Big 12 to the Southeastern Conference.
