Mahomes is the son of the former Major League pitcher of the same name ... and is starting to make a name of his own.

The three-sport star is currently in basketball season, trying to lead Whitehouse into the playoffs before heading to baseball season. Mahomes had a couple of baseball offers coming into this football season but has now picked up offers in football from Texas Tech and Rice.
