Aggies stumble at home in loss to Southern, 53-51

More than 39 minutes of frustration boiled over in a half minute of futility for Texas A&M.
Trying to break a tie in the final seconds, the Aggies turned to star Elston Turner, who slipped to start a series of pratfalls that resulted in a 53-51 loss to Southern on Saturday at Reed Arena.
A&M called timeout with 29.5 seconds remaining to set up a final play. The Aggies got the ball to Turner, who earlier this season hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer to salvage a victory over Washington State.
