Newest development in A&M-SEC saga

On Monday afternoon, Texas A&M and President R. Bowen Loftin received a letter from Big 12 Commissioner Dan Beebe. This letter “outlined withdrawal procedures according to the financial provisions of the Big 12 bylaws and mutual waivers of legal claims.”

Long story short, the legal shackles have officially been removed. The Aggies are free to negotiate with the SEC and, more importantly, the SEC is free to negotiate with A&M.
