Washington, D.C. DE Tyree Johnson doubles A&M's Friday haul
Texas A&M has added a second commitment on the first weekend of the fall as Washington, D.C. St. John's College High School DE Tyree Johnson has made his pledge to Aggies. He follows Jayden Peevy in starting his senior campaign by committing to the Aggies, bringing the 2017 commitment total to 18.
Tyree was introduced to A&M by former high school teammate and current A&M WR Aaron Hansford. His last trip to Aggieland was for the WHOSNEXT BBQ in July, and since then, he's been the Aggies' to lose.
Whereas Peevy could play multiple spots along the defensive front, Johnson is an out-and-out defensive end with a nice set of pass rushing skills. The 6'4", 250 pounder chose A&M over Maryland, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
We'll soon have more from Tyree and his coaches for TexAgs Premium subscribers.
