Hugh Freeze, Les Miles address off-field issues to round out SECMD

HOOVER, Ala. –– Ole Miss has been under fire ever since the night of the
NFL draft when Rebel tackle Laremy Tunsil admitted he’d received money
from an assistant coach.
A series of email exchanges between Tunsil and an Ole Miss staffer seemed to further indicate violations occurred.
To make matters worse, three years ago, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze responded to rumors of impropriety by challenging people to provide proof of recruiting violations.
Freeze has never admitted any wrongdoing, but on Thursday at SEC Media Days, he spoke about Ole Miss’ uncertain status with the NCAA.
