SEC releases 2016 conference football schedule
Many have speculated that in 2016 Kevin Sumlin will have the best team of his time thus far at Texas A&M.
He'll also have one of the most intriguing schedules.
On Thursday the SEC released its 2016 conference football schedule, completing the next-season slate for all fourteen of its teams.
The Ags open with UCLA at Kyle Field on Sept. 3 in what's likely to be one of Week 1's marquee matchups, followed by essentially the polar opposite in a Week 2 visit from Prairie View A&M. Early trips to Auburn and South Carolina sandwich the customary Week 4 tilt with Arkansas in Arlington.
After that, however, is when things get interesting. The Aggies will host Tennessee at Kyle Field on Oct. 8, then receive a bye week before playing Alabama for the second straight year.
Notably, A&M is one of three teams — joining Alabama and Georgia — whose schedule includes three consecutive home games to close the regular season.
