The Southeastern Conference West Division race was always expected to be intriguing, but not nearly as much suspense was anticipated in the East.

That changed last week. Suddenly, the East is just as unpredictable.

And that’s a point of frustration for Georgia fans, who thought the Bulldogs would be the East Division’s best team this year.

They were not alone. Georgia was an overwhelming preseason pick to win the East by the SEC media.
