Joke's on You: Tables turn on Texas A&M's in-state rivals

It’s time to confess and seek forgiveness.

The fact forgiveness is sought for transgressions committed long ago won’t matter in the minds of some. For them there is no statute of limitations.

Skeptics won’t believe you’ve changed. They will remain distrustful. They will say a leopard doesn’t change its spots.

At best, they may claim to forgive but never forget.

I realize and accept this. Still, confession is said to be good for the soul. Therefore I’ll risk being ostracized like Paula Deen and sheepishly admit that long, long ago I said something I shouldn’t have.
