Revisionist History: Will doubt fuel the Aggies again?

No opposing coach will lift up Kevin Sumlin in a bear hug.

Thousands of cotton balls won’t float down from the Kyle Field bleachers.

Don’t count on an Aggie winning the Heisman Trophy.

Yet, the 2015 Texas A&M football season could be very similar to the 1967 campaign when Bear Bryant embraced Gene Stallings after A&M’s Cotton Bowl victory over Alabama.

It could also be like ’85 when cotton rained down on Kyle Field in celebration of a 42-10 victory over Texas that clinched the Southwest Conference championship and another Cotton Bowl berth.
