Sumlin's confidence rising at start of camp's second week

Coach Kevin Sumlin indicated that he was highly encouraged by the results of Texas A&M’s Saturday football scrimmage.
Speaking after Monday night’s practice session, Sumlin said the coaches got valuable video from the scrimmage, which included roughly 100 plays and revealed significant progress in the secondary, at receiver and at linebacker.
Similar scrimmages are planned for Wednesday night and Saturday. The Aggies open the season against Arizona State in Houston on Sept. 5.
