Competition, new arrivals headline start of Aggies' fall

The Texas A&M quarterback
competition officially got underway Monday evening as the Aggies opened
August camp in 100-degree temperatures.
Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin said incumbent starter Kyle Allen, heralded freshman prospect Kyler Murray and even former Oklahoma State walk-on and junior college transfer Jake Hubenak shared snaps as the team opened drills in jerseys, shorts and helmets.
“We had about 30 seven-on-seven snaps and each quarterback got 10 or so,” Sumlin said Monday evening. “We had 50 plays of team with a five-play rotation. All three guys got in.
