For the second straight day and also the second consecutive Monday, the
rich got richer and the high-powered Texas A&M offense added another
pass-catching weapon.
The Aggies' latest addition is Quartney Davis of Houston's Langham Creek High School. Davis chose the Ags over Arkansas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Michigan State and Cal, among others.
A 6-2, 185-pounder, Davis combines good size with excellent speed (he recently clocked a 10.6 100-meters) and strong, reliable hands. He knows how to use his body to keep himself between defenders and the football and is a plus-athlete when the ball is in the air.
