Closer Look: How Ole Miss matches up with Texas A&M

Ole Miss was undefeated and ranked as high as third in the nation last season before injuries and inconsistent quarterback play took a toll.

The Rebels still managed to post nine victories, which included a win over Alabama.

Ole Miss could be even better this season. The depth chart boasts 16 returning starters; three of them — DT Robert Nkemdiche, OT Laremy Tunsil and WR Laquon Treadwell — could be high first-round picks in the next NFL Draft.

The key for Ole Miss is developing a replacement for wildly inconsistent quarterback Bo Wallace and reinforcing a productive secondary that last season produced 22 interceptions and ranked 16th in the nation in passing yards allowed.
