Closer Look: How Nevada matches up with Texas A&M

The seven victories Nevada posted in 2014 were somewhat deceiving.
True, the Wolf Pack barely posted a winning season, but four of their losses were by seven points or less. That included a 35-28 defeat to Arizona and a 51-46 setback against Boise State. The Wolf Pack also posted impressive victories over Washington State and BYU.
However, only half the starters return — which raises questions of just which way Nevada is trending. The most worrisome subtraction is the loss of quarterback Cody Fajardo, an effective dual threat who last season ranked 29th in the nation in total offense.
